Carlos Santana is a rocker with a spiritual foundation. I like that. He's going to do regular shows in Las Vegas soon, and Russell and I will go and see that show among others.

This interview with him about the show in the L.A. Times is fascinating too. He's lit up, he's awake, and what he's saying resonates with me, from jamming in the flow in the middle of the show to the fascination of Las Vegas and of life.

Wow, this brings back wonderful memories of when Russell and I were traveling back and forth from Burbank and Austin... and dreaming... just dreaming... of living in Ojai.

One of my first heart's intentions was to find a compatible riding buddy. Russell can't always go, and I just need my cowgirl friends! It happened fast.

Well, it's a good thing we take our progress with us when we go on to the big playground in the sky, because I have a To Do list longer than Snoop Dog's rap sheet. Karma says you take your failings and debts with you when you go, too, but I don't feel that (and I'm sure Snoop is mighty glad.) It does give me comfort that if I don't get around to all of these creative endeavors in this lifetime, I'll be even better at it next time around.
