Wow, this brings back wonderful memories of when Russell and I were traveling back and forth from Burbank and Austin... and dreaming... just dreaming... of living in Ojai.

As I was playing with the videos Russell and I often take with our iPhones while out having fun and enjoying nature, it occured to me that this would make a wonderful meditation video--a Happy 2012 gift to you.

Let go of what you think meditation has to be, relax, enjoy, and soak up the vibration. Come back often, for a smile, for soothing, and for a vibrational tune-up. Or use it as a Divine Opening.

Yes, I still say ya'll in California. If anybody looks at me funny, I say, "I'm not from around here."

One of my first heart's intentions was to find a compatible riding buddy. Russell can't always go, and I just need my cowgirl friends! It happened fast.

Well, it's a good thing we take our progress with us when we go on to the big playground in the sky, because I have a To Do list longer than Snoop Dog's rap sheet. Karma says you take your failings and debts with you when you go, too, but I don't feel that (and I'm sure Snoop is mighty glad.) It does give me comfort that if I don't get around to all of these creative endeavors in this lifetime, I'll be even better at it next time around.

In an earlier blog I told you about a book called The Rational Optimist, by Matt Ridley, and as I relish slowly reading it, I'm more and more impressed. It's not a spiritual book, and that's what I like about it, because it confirms what you and I know spiritually about how the world is always getting better--from a completely data and fact based standpoint.

Just for fun, before you read the article, here are some pictures of our new home/retreat. I'm still stunned at the beauty here, and raving daily about it. It's more spectacular a location than I ever imagined finding and getting to live in:

A rainbow off the back deck. I see big red tail hawks fly by daily. One just flew by as I'm writing. We're at "hawk's eye level." Nature abounds, so I feel at home here.

Here's our cross country update. We're driving my SUV and horse trailer 1350 miles to our new home in Ojai, California. We've stopped off in Phoenix to visit Russell's daughter and grandson. They're taking us to the lake today to relax for a day before we drive westward.

It's not just the hurricane.

The winds of change are blowing.

There's a lot of talk among my friends about how everyone is "moving." Because the Energy/Light/Intelligence on our planet is amping up, time is moving faster, the world is moving faster, we're all moving faster. But it's always been a fact of life that if we're not keeping up with where our Large Selves have zoomed off to, our Instrument Panel will register distress.

It doesn't include Russell's trips to Mexico City to film his movie. Lola didn't have time to go on those. Oh, and Russell is legally and morally NOT responsible for Lola's goofy amateur fimmaking! He's a pro, but hey, this video is about fun, not perfection!
