Yes, I still say ya'll in California. If anybody looks at me funny, I say, "I'm not from around here."
One of my first heart's intentions was to find a compatible riding buddy. Russell can't always go, and I just need my cowgirl friends! It happened fast.
At the very first 5 Day Retreat here, I barely had enough time to get some fliers out. Nevertheless, five locals showed up to receive Divine Openings from the new initiates on Day 5, and two of those are now new friends. Two are coming to the next retreat! One, who drove two hours to be here, said she's been in personal development coaching programs her whole life and she'd never seen such a group of people.
Laurie Edgecomb is a local acupuncturist who is a perfect riding match for me, plus her horse Zorbie (short for Exorbitant) is a twin of my white mare, Tava (short for Poltava). They are in love. He nuzzles her neck, and she makes nickering sounds I've never heard her make. Don't tell Royal.
