Resistance to Receiving

A recent client noticed that she was being resistant to receiving. This is a very common situation for most people, and can be particularly powerful in women. Actually, the only limits we have are those which we create... but then, thats the reason for the journey!
What is a moment worth?

The sun was shining through the clouds in the cool morning, and the car was gently idling beneath me. My daughter was running inside to proudly display her Halloween costume to her friends. My son in his tiger costume had fallen asleep and was gently woken as my wife lifted him into her arms.
A hundred thoughts were racing through my mind of the calls, emails, work, tasks, bills, etc. that I have to take care of in the little time that I have today. Will that payment come in today? Will that new client sign up today? Can I pull that flailing deal out of the fire?
Helpful Advice on Letting Go? Have faith...

I'm still reading the book, slowly and trying to get the gist of how to let things go. Easier said than done. But, I'm sure it will come with practice. Do you have any more helpful advice for me as I learn this new way of being?

Its like learning how to swim... At first its a bit scary and we struggle to keep afloat. Our movements are stiff and inefficient... we waste alot of energy.
What is "Spiritual Detox"?

First of all, you need to remember that this is a good thing! Detox (or speedbump) is a signal that you are evolving and releasing old patterns. Your vibration is going higher. Rejoice!
Why You Need Support

This is a weird way of saying it, but its a useful model. My wife is a Macrobiotic chef and teacher, and that initiates a physical detox. If you stay with it long enough, it will initiate emotional detox and then spiritual detox.
Divine openings (in my experience) tends to have a reverse effect. Initially it will begin a spiritual detox, then an emotional detox and then eventually a bit of physical detox. Of course - your mileage may vary.
Prosperity Meditation

Here is a great meditation that not only helps with calming the mind, but also with bringing more prosperity and wealth into your life (whatever that means to you).
First - be sure that you are breathing properly. Work on breathing slowly and deeply with your abdomen and NOT your chest.
Sit in a comfortable spot where you will be undisturbed for 10-20 minutes or more.
Slow your breathing at a comfortable rate, and make it deeper... this should be done with great ease.
In your mind, imagine that you have a bucket and are in a beautiful natural setting Nearby is a small pool of golden water, with a rock overhang from which more golden water is slowly dripping.
